In 2020 YAC travelled to Puerto Rico.
Greece 2019
In 2019 YAC travelled to Greece where they performed the Brahms Nänie and Theofanidis Here and Now, in Athens and Nafplion as part of the Nostos Festival, as well as on the island of Rhodes.
Yale International Choral Festival 2018
YAC co-hosted the third Yale International Choral Festival in New Haven, June 13-16, with choirs from Sri Lanka, Berlin, Mexico City, and New York City.
In August 2017 the Yale Alumni Chorus travelled to Toronto where they performed with the Nathaniel Dett Chorale and learned about the Underground Railroad.
In summer of 2016 YAC toured Vietnam and Singapore. The Chorus sang the Mozart Requiem at the Hanoi Opera House and Singapore's Esplanade. Joint a cappella concerts were held with the Saigon Choir and the National University of Singapore Choir.
Yale International Choral Festival 2015
YAC co-hosted the second Yale International Choral Festival in New Haven, June 16-20 2015. Performances and master classes were provided by six participating choruses: Coro Entrevoces (Cuba), Voces Nordicae (Sweden), National University of Singapore Choir, Jerusalem Youth Choir, Yale Choral Artists, and the Yale Alumni Chorus.
In June 2014 YAC participated in the Serenade! Choral Festival in Washington, DC. The festival is organized by Classical Movements and includes choruses from around the world. YAC performed the Mozart Vespers Solennes with orchestra and soloists at the Church of the Epiphany in downtown Washington and sang with other Festival choruses from around the world at the Strathmore Music Center.
For its 15th anniversary tour the Chorus toured three Baltic countries with great choral traditons: Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. The chorus gave six concerts in four cities. Lux Aeterna by Morten Lauridsen was the major choral work performed with either orchestra or organ. The rest of the program included Yale arrangements of various American folk songs and songs of the countries.
Yale International Choral Festival 2012
The Chorus co-hosted the Yale International Choral Festival in New Haven, June 19-23 2012. Performances and master classes were provided by the Central Conservatory of Music Choir (Beijing), Manado State University Choir (Indonesia), Imilonji Kantu Choral Society (South Africa), and the Cambridge University Chamber Choir (England). The Alumni Chorus performed to close the event.
The 2011 Celebration Tour took the Chorus to Turkey, Georgia, and Armenia, June 14-28, 2011. For the first concert in Istanbul YAC was joined on stage by the Yale Glee Club, which was celebrating its sesquicentennial with a European tour that ended in Istanbul. YAC then flew to Georgia to hear the very special sounds of the traditional music of the region and perform with local choruses such as Basiani, Rustavi and Gori Women's Choir. In Armenia the Chorus was hosted by YAC's longtime friend Constantine Orbelian, whose intimate knowledge of the country and its music added to the very special character of this tour.
On the 2010 Cantemos Tour the Chorus visited Havana and Matanzas Cuba June 26-July 5, performing with the Coro Nacional de Cuba and the Orquestra Solistas de La Habana.
For the 2009 Voces Unidas Tour the Chorus toured Guatemala and Mexico. They organized a children's choral festival in an indigenous area of Guatamala, sang Mozart's Coronation Mass with the MileniuM Sonfonietta of Mexico City, and gave concerts in Puebla and San Miguel de Allende Mexico.
The 2007 Power of Song Tour saw the Chorus travel to South Africa, performing Haydn's Creation in Johannesburg and at the Grahamstown National Arts Festival, as well as numerous less-formal concerts.
